The Problem

PictoryTale needed experienced Unity experts to our development team. They had a clear goal of expanding our application's feature set, improving overall performance, and enhancing its quality. That's why they actively searched for skilled professionals who possess a deep understanding of Unity.

Problem-solving

Building on our successful collaboration with SnisSnac AR, we embarked on a new project while continuing to work on the existing one. Our primary objective was to develop a tailor-made application that caters specifically to our client's unique requirements. In order to achieve this, we undertook the task of building the application from the ground up, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies such as our proprietary streaming system, advanced analytics system, and cutting-edge GPS map system. These groundbreaking technologies were meticulously crafted by our team of seasoned professionals. By integrating these advanced technologies, we were not only able to deliver a highly specialized and innovative solution but also enhance the overall value proposition for our client and their user base.

Mobile

We used Unity Engine for the mobile side. We utilized Google MediaPipe, ARCore and ARKit for enhancing 3D tours. To minimize battery consumption we engaged multi-rendering techniques, optimizing 3D assets loading. Furthermore, we incorporated enhancements for device sensors and utilized specific features tailored for augmented reality to guarantee a seamless user experience.

Backend

Node.js manages server-side operations, integrating AWS services like S3 for scalable and secure AR content storage. This optimized retrieval and distribution, ensuring a responsive user experience in our multimedia-centric backend architecture.

DevOps

We implemented CI/CD pipelines in our DevOps strategy for integration and deployment of updates. AWS played a vital role in hosting and scaling our augmented reality platform. Monitoring tools were used to promptly address performance issues, and server configurations were optimized. Separate environments were maintained for development, staging, and production.

Our collaborative efforts have been ongoing for nearly 2 years now. During this time, we have carefully built the application from scratch, adding various important features that have improved its functionality.
