The Financial Bureau, a financial institution that specializes in debt management, faced challenges when it came to customers feeling uneasy about visiting their offices in person. They were searching for a simple solution to address this issue.
We developed a cutting-edge mobile banking application for Android and IOS platforms. This innovative app offers a wide range of features to enhance the banking experience for customers. With this app, users can effortlessly keep track of their current loan schedules, conveniently make payments towards their debts, monitor the progress of their payments, and seamlessly communicate with the Financial Bureau through the app's integrated chat functionality. This user-friendly app revolutionizes the way customers manage their finances and ensures a smooth and efficient banking experience.
Involvement & Process
We used React Native for the cross-platform mobile app, following a weekly Scrum setup. To keep our code solid, we did routine code reviews, automated testing, and used linting tools. Codebase was hosted on GitHub.
We used Node.js for the backend, following a weekly sprint cycle. To make the backend efficient we used Express.js and MongoDB and for testing, we used Jest and Supertest to check how different parts worked together
Our DevOps approach for the app involves CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and using Google Firebase.
